Nanci Yermakoff studied art in New Jersey and New York City before completing her BA at the University of Minnesota with a major in studio arts. After a number of years working as a vocational counselor she resumed studying and painting, working primarily in watercolor. She teaches watercolor at the Botanical and Zoological Art and Illustration Program at the Como Conservatory.

Nanci's paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions including solo shows at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI and Seasons on St Croix Gallery in Hudson, WI. Juried exhibitions include the Minnesota State Fair, The Minnesota Watercolor Society, and the Northstar Watercolor Society. In addition, many pieces are in corporate and private collections.
